Fernando Hocevar, of Mendoza, Argentina, is one of most acclaimed international artists in the field of Digital Arts. He graduated from the University of Mendoza as an architect, which gave him a solid aesthetic background for his artistic endeavors. He started his fine art career as a photographer and won numerous awards and major competitions. Later he turned to oils and was established as a major artist for his series of paintings entitled "Landscapes in the country of the calm."
In 1997, without abandoning the spirit and beauty of his paintings, he started developing his landscapes through a digital process. This became a passion for him. Two years later, he held an exhibition of 40 large pieces at the Museum of Modern Art in Mendoza called "Landscapes Under the Hidden Moon." The critics called it the most important example of digital art in Argentina.
Since then, his digital work has won major international awards, including the prestigious Fiorina d’Argento award in Florence, Italy, and the Great Prize of Honor, Toray Japan.

His art can be found throughout major venues such as the Hyatt Hotel in Mendoza, Argentina and the Grand Hyatt Hotels in Bombay and Kolkata, India. It also is part of personal and corporate collections in Argentina, Chile, France, Italy, Mexico, Israel, Spain, India, Canada, and the United States.
His landscapes are bare, cool, and ethereal, notable for their iconic and primitive architectural forms and the serene coloring of water and sky. Other series include flowers, figures, tapestries, abstractions, bowls and glasses, and large-scale murals, all of which highlight the range of his work.
Limited-edition prints, signed and numbered by the artist, are available in a wide variety of sizes, on paper or canvas, and can be customized for the available space. The colors also can be adjusted to match your décor. Each print is manually varnished for protection and texture.
